Back in Dublin!
So glad to be back. My internet access has been limited but I'll update more thoroughly tomorrow. We have traveled from Wesport to Rosses Point to Derry to Belfast and now we're back in Dublin until Thursday where me and Jeanie leave for a short trip to London.

Sorry Everyone
This internet cafe is about to close so I could only upload 2 pictures and don't have time to tell you about the rest of my trip. I'll update this as soon as I can. I'm not sure that Lisdoonvera will have internet access and we are there for 2 days.

Dublin Day 3 and 4
First, I have to apologize for no pictures today. I have my camera but failed to bring my cardreader or USB cable so I'm not able to upload. I'll do my best to get them up tomorrow, as there are some great things to see.
On Friday we visited Kilmhein Jail (I'm not sure of the spelling). It was a moving experience to say the least. The jail was the site where many of the leaders of the Easter Rising of 1916 were brutally executed by the government. These men were fighting for Ireland's freedom from England. The strutchure it self was quite unique and the gloom of this building could truly be felt.
We also visited the National Museum and the Natural History Museum.
Today we visited Newgrange where we were able to climb into one of the oldest structures in the world. The burial chamber, with a floor plan that resemebled a cross - a long path way leading in, two chambers one on the left and right and another at the end of the path. At 9 am a ray of sunlight will seep into the structure and lasts for 17 minutes. I wish I could have experienced the real thing but it only occurs in December and it also must be a clear day, not so common in Ireland. They did simulate it for us and that alone was chilling.
We are off to Waterford tomorrow morning.

Dublin Day 1 and 2
Dublin is absolutely fantastic! We have been enjoying the sites such as Dublin Castle, Trinity College where we saw The Book of Kells, and a special exhibit about the Easter Rising of 1916 at the Irish Museum.
We went out last night and enjoyed the local pubs, it ws very different from here. It was a weeknight but the pubs were packed because the Liverpool football match. There aren't many girls that go out during the week so we definitely stood out. We had a great time though and met some really funny people. They really do sing a lot here too!
Of course we tried Cod Fish and Chips as soon as we got here, it was very yummy and fresh. The beer here is almost all dark, so far we've been drinking Bulmers, which is a girly cider beer that is very sweet. I'm going to have to start on the dark beer tonight I think.
I've upload some pictures. Miss everyone tremendously. I'll try to keep you updated.
